I built a group for us to create a community around Startup Weekend. I used supergroups so that we can also put video testimonials in and use it as a bit of a promo video that can adapt quickly as new weekends occur.
You can go in and add a short clip (10-40 secs) on what you love about startup weekend, what it means to you, what your experience was like, etc. Sky’s the limit. You can upload a video or record it with your webcam. You can also use it for the discussion board, to group photos together. Feel free to use it for whatever you can think of, if you think of something really cool that’s not on there, let me know and I’ll pass it on to the developer.
